This Burger Is Glazed With A MONSTER Energy Drink, Beer And Bacon

thepunisher

The days of classic hot dogs and nachos at ballgames are buried deep in the past, as more and more MLB stadiums are having shootouts, trying to prove that they can create the most Instagram-worthy, bacon-fueled meal. Ballparks are metaphorically jacking up their recipes with steroids and hoping to crank out home runs, like the players used to in the '90s.

So with Churro Hot Dogs and Deep-Fried S'moreos being all the rage last season, we shouldn't be surprised that the Atlanta Braves are getting in on the action by glazing their food with energy drinks.

They're calling it The Punisher, and it could definitely punish your insides if you don't proceed with caution.

The official description of the sandwich on MLB.com said it consists of:

"Country-fried smoked rib meat slathered in a Monster energy drink-infused BBQ sauce, topped with a fresh cut beer-battered onion and "slawsa" tucked in between a toasted and buttered Hawaiian bun and pinned in place with two slices of bacon"

None of that sentence makes sense on the first read, so let's break it all down piece-by-piece:

__________

Somehow, the meat from the food on the left is fried to look like the food on the right. So, it's like a chicken fried steak, except with rib meat, I guess.

__________

Then they combined these two, which doesn't seem that crazy except for the fact that it's added to an already monstrous creation.

It's stuffed with this, which is apparently coleslaw and salsa.

Then they slathered that ridiculous creation with BBQ sauce made with the drink below.

Then it's sandwiched in between the this stuff, which at least makes some sense.

And for the cherry on top, bacon.

Good luck eating that, Braves fans. Hopefully there's a cardiologist nearby.
