Wendy’s is putting a sizzling spin on its classic Spicy Chicken Sandwich with the help of Takis. The two have fusion ha’d to create a new Takis Fuego-flavored meal.

The Fuego Meal features a scorching, well-seasoned chicken sandwich layered with crushed Takis Fuego chips, chili lime seasoning, corn-based spread and cheddar cheese sauce.

Turn the heat up another notch with Hot & Crispy Fries, dusted with zesty chili lime seasoning in a custom tear-away bag. Both can be ordered together as a meal or individually. The meal also includes a bag of Takis Fuego chips, while supplies last.

“At Wendy’s, we know how to keep things spicy, and we love serving up fresh, famous collaborations that tap into consumers’ passion points, which made this partnership with Takis a no-brainer,” said Lindsay Radkoski, U.S. Chief Marketing Officer for The Wendy’s Company.

Joining the release, Wendy’s has designed an in-app game called “Spice Invasion” for fans. Players must explore a retro-style land populated by Wendy’s menu items, where they can earn points and win a grand prize up to $10,000 by shooting the menu items with Takis chips.

The Fuego Meal lands at Wendy’s nationwide on June 20 and in Canadian locations on June 30.
