Minnesota State Fair Debuts Beer Soft Serve Made From Actual Brew

One of the best parts about going to State Fairs is trying unique foods. The Minnesota State Fair kicks off tomorrow, and if you visit this year, you can try literal beer soft serve. 

The soft serve is non-dairy and made of 100% Pryes Brewings Royal Raspberry Beer, a tart American fruit Berliner Weisse. It was created by Charlie Burrows, the co-owner of Lulu’s Public House, who also invented “Deep-Fried Ranch” and the “Tot Dog,” a tater tot-wrapped hot dog on a stick, both of which were successful. 

Burrows’s beer soft serve will be available at the Minnesota State Fair, which runs from August 21 to September 1. Find it at West End Brews, located south of Schilling Amphitheater, in the west section.
