There Are 9 Rogue McDonald's In Los Angeles Serving Kale RIGHT NOW

If there's one city that McDonald's should test its kale in, it's Los Angeles. LA is known for it's yoga-promoting, juice-cleansing, kale-on-everything health nuts — while McDonald's, well, isn't.

As McDonald's keeps trying to change its negative image, it's probably hoping that this new Kale Breakfast bowl will help do the trick.

According to the OC Register, there are nine McDonald's in the Los Angeles area that are testing this kaletastic new menu item. The bowl will also include turkey sausage, egg whites, bruschetta-style basil and tomato topping and spinach, which overall sounds pretty healthy.

There is another breakfast bowl that's being tested, and actually sounds waaaaaay better than the tree-hugging kale bowl. That one contains chorizo, a hash brown, scrambled eggs, cheddar jack cheese and pico de gallo.

McDonald's has been making a lot of big changes lately, and for better or worse, this one sounds about as exciting as the Hamburglar reboot.
