This is the Only McDonald’s Location That Doesn’t Have Golden Arches

McDonald’s brand ubiquity is top tier. If you see the Golden Arches, you already know what time it is. Either a Big Mac craving is about to be satisfied or the thirst for some spicy Sprite will be quenched.

But what if I told you that there was exactly one McDonald’s location that has blue arches? No, it’s not a knock off, Wish-version McDonald’s. No, an off brand “Ron McDonnell”clown will not greet you at the door. It’s a legit McDonald’s location, trust, and you can find it in Sedona, Arizona.

But why are the arches blue in the first place? It started with the city of Sedona being noted for its incredible natural beauty, with stunning red rocks painting the landscape. However, because of Sedona’s incredible natural decor, buildings were regulated to make sure that no structure aesthetically clashed with it.

City officials made sure that when the McDonald’s was built back in 1993, it would not impose on any aspect of Sedona’s picturesque red landscape, resulting in the pleasant blue arches of this restaurant location.
