I guess you can’t put a price on nostalgia. McDonald’s recent "adult Happy Meal" collaboration with Cactus Plant Flea Market has been wildly popular amongst fans of collectables. Having already sold out at many McDonald’s locations across the US, many have looked to the secondary market in an attempt to get their hands on one of the limited-edition toys.

The toys included in the collaboration are McDonald’s mainstays Grimace, the Hamburglar, Birdie, along with CPFM’s Cactus Buddy. According to CNBC, as a result of the hype, resellers have been seizing the potential money-making opportunity as toys from the Big Mac combo meal are appearing on sites going for thousands of dollars. One eBay seller has listed three unopened toys for a mindblowing $300,000.95, adding, “WILL SELL FAST!!”.

Another reseller has listed a single unopened toy for $25,000, also asking for the $6.10 shipping fee to be covered.

While neither listing has received bids yet, collectors are still paying considerable amounts for the toys. On October 6 a listing that included a staggering 150 unopened toys sold for $2,400 while according to eBay’s sales history, a dozen or more 150-count cases have sold for up to $1,900.
