Marshawn Lynch’s ‘Yeast Mode’ Cookbook Is Pure Beast Mode In The Kitchen

Marshawn Lynch isn’t just running over linebackers anymore—he’s coming for your taste buds. “Yeast Mode,” the debut cookbook from the legendary running back, is equal parts deep-fried, audacious, and unapologetically Marshawn. We got a sneak peek at the recipes that prove the man isn’t just a Beast on the field. He’s a Beast in the kitchen too.

Lynch goes full culinary icon, sharing a curated collection of real recipes under the “Yeast Mode” banner. True to his personality, the directions are bold, reckless, and entirely committed to Beast Mode.

So, what’s the most Beast Mode part of “Yeast Mode”? In Marshawn’s own words that he told us: “Me. Whatcha mean? Naw for real tho… just getting to be in the kitchen, cookin’ and bakin’. The thing about food is that it brings people together. I got family and friends from all types of backgrounds and we may not always agree on shit, but when the food hit the table or come out the oven, we all get it in and enjoy… and that’s what I’m about—Fam First Family.”

And yes, he keeps it real about the kitchen mishaps: “I ain’t burnt nothing down in a minute if that’s what you asking. But you know when I’m there with my aunties, mammas, whoever… I’m just trying to have a good time, enjoy the moment, and learn a few things.”

“Yeast Mode” was officially announced by Lynch on August 11. Get ready to see Marshawn tackle dough, spice, and flavor with the same intensity he brought to the gridiron.
