TV host and actor, Mario Lopez, recently trended on X (formerly known as Twitter) as users were somehow surprised of his Mexican roots, which were made evident to them through Lopez’s recent TikTok food reviews.

The revelation to the clueless became a celebration of authenticity as users praised Lopez for breaking stereotypes and embracing his heritage. Responding with humor he quipped, “Isn’t that a trip? With a name like Mario Lopez.”
