Mario Batali Orders 200 Pairs of Soon-to-be Discontinued Orange Crocs

Orange Crocs

Celebrity chef Mario Batali is known for his love of Crocs. So is it really that much of a stretch when he decided to stock up once he heard they discontinued the orange color? It might be if he ordered 200. Which he did.

Upon finding that the brand was going to stop selling the bright orange shoes he loves, the chef decided he needed to order as many as he could before they retired forever. While the traditional bright orange was confirmed as discontinued, Bistro Mario Batali Edition Crocs (which come in orange) are still available for purchase. So for those looking to rep some Batali-esque swag, there you go.
