Sorting Hat Doughnut? Krispy Kreme’s New Harry Potter Collab Brings Magic To The Menu

To celebrate the return of Harry Potter to theaters this week, Krispy Kreme has linked with Warner Bros. on a new doughnut collection inspired by Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The Harry Potter: Houses of Hogwarts x Krispy Kreme Collection includes four doughnut designs that represent each of the four houses:

• Gryffindor Doughnut – an unglazed shell doughnut filled with cookie butter-flavored Kreme, dipped in red icing and Biscoff cookie crumble, topped with golden icing drizzles and the Gryffindor crest.
• Slytherin Doughnut – an Original Glazed doughnut topped with chocolate and green buttercreme-flavored swirls, chocolate cookie sugar blend, and the Slytherin crest.
• Hufflepuff Doughnut – an unglazed shell doughnut filled with brown butter toffee-flavored custard, dipped in golden yellow icing, and topped with black chocolate drizzle, cookie crunch, and the Hufflepuff crest.
• Ravenclaw Doughnut – an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in blueberry-flavored icing, topped with the Ravenclaw sprinkles and crest.

The collection is now available at locations nationwide for a limited time, along with another one-of-a-kind flavor inspired by the Sorting Hat. It comes filled with mystery Kreme in the color of one of the houses, and is dipped in chocolate icing, sprinkled with gold stars and sugar, and topped with a miniature Sorting Hat. The doughnut recreates the experience of being selected for a house; the color of the cream reveals which house you belong to. It’s sold separately in a limited-edition box.

The Harry Potter celebration doesn’t end there. On August 23, fans who visit Krispy Kreme and share their favorite Hogwarts house will receive one Original Glazed for free, no purchase necessary. Then, starting September 1, fans will have the chance to win a trip to Universal Studios in Hollywood or Orlando to visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Doughnuts aren’t the only new Harry P items at Krispy Kreme; the Golden Snitch Latte made with caramel toffee, topped with whipped cream, Biscoff cookie crumble and dusted with golden sugar, will coincide with the release.
