Krispy Kreme Reveals First-Ever Buddy The Elf Doughnut Collection

Many know Home Alone to be the iconic holiday classic movie, but this year, Elf is getting some extra festive love as the movie celebrates its 20th anniversary. While not exactly identified as one of the four main groups for elves (candy, candy canes, candy corns, syrup), Buddy the Elf is moving on up with his very own Krispy Kreme doughnut collection!

Starting Friday, November 24, for a limited time at participating shops across the U.S., fans can enjoy three new Elf-inspired doughnuts and the return of the popular Santa Belly Doughnut, all available in a limited-edition Elf-themed dozen box:

  • NEW Buddy Snow Globe Doughnut: An original Krispy Kreme glazed doughnut dipped in sugar cookie light blue icing and white sprinkles, topped with powdered sugary snow and a chocolate Elf piece. Buddy did love the snow and this is a clever way of expressing it on food!
  • NEW Buddy Makes Breakfast Doughnut: An original Krispy Kreme glazed doughnut topped with cake batter spaghetti buttercreme, milk chocolate colorful candies, sprinkles, and a maple drizzle. Don’t mock the spaghetti or the maple drizzle, it’s all part of the elves’ food groups!
  • NEW Christmas Lights Doughnut: An original Krispy Kreme glazed doughnut dipped in rich chocolate icing, drizzled with green icing, and topped with rainbow sprinkles and a chocolate Elf piece. Buddy loved vibrant colors like red and green to make any gift more festive.
  • Santa Belly Doughnut: A Santa belly doughnut filled with Cookies & Kreme filling, dipped in red icing and decorated with Santa’s belt and belt buckle candy piece. And of course, Buddy was a big fan of Santa.

If you don’t live near a Krispy Kreme, don’t sweat it like Buddy. Elf lovers can also find the limited time doughnuts at select grocery stores like Walmart, Kroger, Publix and more.

And if that’s not enough to make your holiday tummy filled, Krispy Kreme is returning its annual “Day of the Dozens” on December 12, offering guests a $1 Original Glazed dozen when they purchase any dozen at regular price in-shop, drive-thru, or online for pick-up or delivery.
