This Theme Park Will Serve You Alligator Meat In A Cone

Knotts-Alligator-2

On our most recent tour through Knott’s Berry Farm, we came upon the Spurs Patio dining area. There, Knott’s chef Bobby Obezo announced that we would get to try alligator meat served at the park for the upcoming Boysenberry Festival.

The reptilian protein is hand battered and deep-fried into little bite-sized pieces. It’s served with with a boysenberry aioli in a paper cone over a bed of thinly-cut french fries.

It tasted like chicken and if they didn’t tell us what it was ahead of time, I don’t think we’d be able to tell the difference.

You can find the gator bites at Knott’s during the popular Boysenberry Festival the Peanuts theme park holds annually. The festival will begin on March 19 and run through April 3.
