Italian Cheese Burglars Steal Over $875,000 Worth Of Parmesan

In what sounds like a cheesy spin-off of The Italian Job, a group of thieves discretely stole $875,000 worth of cheese in Italy.

There were allegedly 11 thieves, probably all with cool nicknames, who roamed Italy, looking for the perfect warehouses and factories to annex their Parmigiano-Reggiano, or better known as Parmesan cheese, according to Vice/Munchies..

A total of 2,039 wheels of cheese were taken by the Italian jobbers, before they were arrested in Modena, Italy, Thursday.

According to Italian authorities the cheese burglars were caught with weapons, radios, devices that discombobulate alarms, and other crazy gadgets that help break into buildings.

All these cheese heists occurred over a two year span, but their luck eventually ran out as they might have to forfeit their cheese empire.

They would have never gotten caught if they had Jason Statham by their side.
