Impossible Sausage Launches In The Retail Market

Plant-based options continue to gain ground in normalizing their place in more home kitchens. Adding to that is Impossible Sausage, which originally launched last year in select restaurants, but will now be made more widely available to consumers.

Launching in two flavors, Savory and Spicy, folks can now purchase Impossible Sausage at select retail stores nationally, including Safeway, Kroger, Stop & Shop and more, starting this week.

Impossible Sausage has 30% fewer calories, 47% less total fat, 43% less saturated fat, and four times more iron, compared to the leading pork ground sausage. And with more individuals making dining choices with the planet’s well-being in mind, it’s important to note that Impossible Sausage generates far less greenhouse gas emissions than sausage from pigs and uses 79% less water and 41% less land than sausage from pigs.
