Hong Kong Express

I definitely loves me some St. College. Anyone from Orange County, particularly the area I grew up in around Anaheim/Fullerton/Brea knows that St. College is one of the backbone streets in our neighborhood. It’s littered with banks, shopping centers, and lies…lies…lies! As you can see above, that is a neon sign hanging in the window of “Hong Kong Express”. While nothing inside (besides drinks) was actually priced at a dollar, there was a time, as a child, I remember my mother taking me to this very establishment and we ordered meals for everyone and we indeed only paid 1 dollar a plate. I guess times have changed, but one thing has truly stayed consistent…and that is the amazingness of this place. We’ve got adventure and plenty pictures galore, so read on!

Apparently they do delivery? I have never tried it, but it might be too good to be true, just like the $1 dollar neon sign. In their defense, they do have cheap bowls for under 2 dollars that might be of interest!

Just beneath this menu, and just above the food, was a cutie serving our food. Too bad I couldn’t get my R-Kelly on, I value my job of eating food and blogging about it much too much to risk it. Sorry, love.

Nice wall painting.

Nice fish tank.

Same girl serving the food (behind the register) had this mini homework setup that she confided to whenever the customer rush eased up. Cute much?

I enjoyed the mongolian beef and kung pao chicken. If you guys are in the area watching an Angels game or going to Disneyland, make your way down to St. College and give these guys a whirl, you definitely won’t be dissapointed:

PS: Make sure if you see a TAYLOR CORNER on the streets of Orange County/LA, tell him he takes some mighty fine photos!
