Cleveland Dairy Queen Sign Boldly Trolls NBA’s Steph Curry Before Finals Game
It’s not unusual to see fast food signs with fun quotes, or clever puns, but this Ohio Dairy Queen is poking a bear at a very dangerous time.
Thursday is Game 6 of the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers, and while Cleveland is the home team, they’re on the verge of being eliminated and this DQ is sending the type of karma that could wake up Golden State and league MVP, Stephen Curry.
ESPN’s Darren Rovell posted this photo to Twitter Thursday morning, showing a DQ sign that reads, “Steph Curry is softer than our ice cream.”
Yeah, there might be some truth to the sign, as Curry hasn’t looked like the same player he was, even a few weeks ago, but if he goes off for 40 points and knocks out the Cavaliers, we might be looking back at this sign for blame. That is, of course, how superstitions work in sports.
