Honeymoon Over My Hammy: Couple Gets Hitched at Denny’s Vegas

Denny’s flagship Vegas location, “Denny’s on Freemont,” officially opened it’s in-house wedding chapel. To mark the occasion, a lucky couple was picked to be the first to walk down the venue’s aisle.

“Our in-house wedding chapel truly combines the authenticity of America’s Diner with the eccentricity of Las Vegas,” piped Frances Allen , Denny’s chief marketing officer. “We’re extremely excited to finally bring this one-of-a-kind experience to all our guests and knew we wanted to make our first wedding unforgettable for a very special couple.”

Apparently, getting hitched over hash browns and pancakes was something Nancy Levandowski and Steven Keller, die-hard Denny’s fans, wanted to do for a long time coming.

“As passionate Denny’s fans for more than 35 years, my husband and I couldn’t think of a more fun and exciting way to tie the knot than at Denny’s Vegas location in the very heart of the restaurant,” beamed Nancy. “When we reflected on all of our memories made at Denny’s, we knew that getting married over a plate of pancakes would be our best memory yet!”

Well, ain’t that the, erm, cutest? You gotta hand it to them, not everyone gets to say their vows next to an epic Pancake Puppie wedding cake. If you think about it, the reception probably makes for an epic hangover meal after those bachelor/ette parties.

If you want in, wedding packages start at just $95. Well, shoot.
