Chuck E. Cheese’s Is Developing A Competition Show Similar To ‘Squid Games’

Going to Chuck E. Cheese’s was once the holy grail for kids. While it is no longer the hot spot it once was, its IP is still a valuable piece of pop culture.

Reports have surfaced of Chuck E. Cheese’s being adapted into a competition show. Magical Elves, the producers behind Top Chef and other popular reality hits, is developing a Squid Game-inspired series that pits adults against one another. Even better, all of the Chuck E. Cheese’s games that you know and love will be super-sized for the competition.

According to a press release, “The format will feature stand-alone comedic physical challenges where duos of ‘big kids’ (aka adults) will compete over supersized arcade games — including pinball, air hockey, alley roller, and the human claw. The top ticket earning duo will get the chance to exchange their tickets for prizes off the massive version of the iconic Chuck E. Cheese prize wall.”

The show is still in early development and currently has no official release date.
