Fitness Guru Shows Us How To Make Cheeseburger Pop-Tarts

There's an argument to be made that many foods should be enjoyed in some kind of Pop-Tart form. For those who can barely roll out of bed to make it to work on time, it's just easier being able to crush your meals in hand-held fashion.

Zach Rocheleau, the man behind @theflexibledietinglifestyle on Instagram, shared a recipe with us that combines the convenience of a Pop-Tart with the savory goodness of a cheeseburger.

To make the flaky Pop-Tart crust, Rocheleau combines regular flour, coconut flour, and almond flour in a food processor. Butter and plain Greek yogurt are introduced to the flour mixture and blended further to create a lighter pastry. Taking a handful of the dough, he forms two balls which are rolled out on a flat surface to form the bottom and top halves of the crust.

Once the edges are cleanly sliced, a burger patty is stacked with queso, shredded mozzarella cheese, avocado slices, and a fried egg.

After the cheeseburger Pop-Tart is assembled, he crimps the edges with a fork and bakes the savory pastry for 12-15 minutes at 450 degrees.

The recipe is low-carb and high in protein for anyone trying to bulk up. If you're not, however, it just looks friggin' delicious.
