Carl’s Jr. Introduces MASSIVE Boneless Baby Back Rib Sandwich

Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s are coming after McDonald’s with the introduction of a new rib sandwich.

The new Baby Back Rib Burger boasts a charbroiled beef patty, crispy onions, pickles, and de-boned baby back ribs slathered in Cattleman’s Original BBQ Sauce, all served between two brioche-style buns, Brand Eating reports.

Because McDonald’s McRib isn’t technically a boneless rib (more like a rib meat patty), Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s are set to become the first major fast food chain to offer boneless rib meat on their menus. BBQ lovers can rejoice now that they’ll be able to roll into a drive-thru and get their rib fix within minutes.

The rib meat was sourced from rib makers Bubba-Q’s Boneless Ribs, who appeared on Shark Tank a few years ago.

Patrons of Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s can find the new burger on April 27 at participating restaurant locations nationwide. Hopefully the real-life burger looks as promising as the official photo.

We’ve been burned before.
