Candy Corn Cake

Candy Corn comes with the Fall/Autumn territory, but making an entire cake from the flavor can be a bit overwhelming. That’s where this oversized Candy Corn Cake comes into play! The cake is made by the folks of Perfect Endings out of California’s Napa Valley for Williams Sonoma, ships frozen, and comes with two layers of pure vanilla-scented cake, caramel buttercream filling and topped with white fondant icing.

The cake isn’t as gimmicky as one might think, made with premium ingredients including Belgian white chocolate, French artisan butter and fresh dairy cream. The $80 cake serves six people and measures 5 3/4″ x 9 ¼ x 2″ high.

EDIT: 09/27/2013 This cake is apparently no longer available through Williams Wonoma.
