Candy Cobs—the Unicorn of Halloween Treats

If you were looking for a way to get trick-or-treaters sugar high, the only way to do it faster would involve an I.V. of high-fructose corn syrup. This recipe, created by Instructables user alaskantomboy, gives you some sugar with your sugar. Take your favorite Halloween kernels and arrange them in raw sugar-cookie dough for a delicious, quick (about 4 minutes!), and cheap treat. Just be warned, your teeth might fall out afterwards.

Worried more about raw eggs than cavities? You can make egg-free cookie dough. Or, if you’re in the mood for something chocolatier, try melting chocolate around the candy corns and sticking the cob in the freezer for a few minutes.

Tips: Setting the candy cob in the fridge helps the dough hold together better. Make your own corn holders with toothpicks or purchase some Uni-Corn holders for that extra dose of magic.
