McDonald’s Will Roll Out Dirty Sodas And Refreshers Nationwide
In February we reported that McDonald’s planned to expand its McCafé Lineup with drinks from its failed CosMc’s concept. After successfully testing them at 500 locations last year, the chain has announced an official nationwide rollout of these new additions
According to The Wall Street Journal, franchisees have invested thousands into new beverage machines in preparation of the overhaul, which is said to include a slew of dirty sodas and caffeine-laced Refreshers in collaboration with Red Bull.

McDonald’s is just one of several chains leaning into expanded beverage offerings in hopes of appealing to a younger demographic, along with Taco Bell’s Live Más Café, Whataburger’s Whatafreshers, Panera, Starbucks, and Sonic.
Per Restaurant Dive, the expanded line of Refreshers and craft sodas are expected to begin arriving next month, with energy drinks following in August.
