Burger King is doubling down on chicken.

According to reports, the home of the Whopper is testing a lineup of flame-grilled chicken menu items for a limited time at select Southern California locations.

The test menu includes Flame-Grilled Chicken Sandwiches in Classic, Spicy, and Bacon & Swiss varieties, along with Flame-Grilled Chicken Wraps in Classic, Spicy, and Honey Mustard flavors.

The test follows Burger King’s recent launch of two new Original Chicken Sandwich varieties: Loaded Jalapeño and Club. For now, there’s no word on whether the new flame-grilled chicken lineup will expand nationwide, though the test could signal what’s next for the chain’s growing chicken menu.
