No Hangovers From This Organic ‘Tequila Quencher’?

Consumers have steadily increased their need for hangover cure products, as the global market for them is projected to reach a robust growth of $4.67 billion by 2028. Who can blame us for not wanting to feel the deathly combo of nausea, headaches, thirst, and fatigue? Show us a sword and we’ll slay the dragon with it.

But what if there’s the possibility of imbibing without having to even worry about the hangover boogieman at all? That may be a possibility with Buena Fé tequila quenchers. However, what exactly is a quencher? Another hard seltzer to add to the mix with a fancy name?

“A quencher is, in simple terms, a refreshing drink that should stop you from feeling thirsty. We effectively created a new category as we didn’t want Buena Fé to be just another ‘seltzer’ or ‘tequila soda’, it is more juice and flavor forward and contains no sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate or erythrol preservative than other canned drinks that can leave you feeling bloated or leave a weird taste in your mouth,” explained Andrew Bushby, co-founder of Buena Fé.

Inspired by the Spanish expression “in good faith,” Buena Fé is the world’s first 100% USDA certified organic tequila ready-to-drink quencher that has no artificial flavors or preservatives.

As for the no hangovers part, Buena Fé is made with 100% agave tequila — when you drink ‘mixto’, with only 51% blue agave tequila, then that’s when you start swimming in hangover waters.

“We have focused on ingredient quality and our 100% agave organic tequila is much kinder than the less expensive ‘mixto’ alternatives. We also don’t use any of those nasty preservatives mentioned above. While we can’t make promises as everybody is different and will enjoy Buena Fé in different quantities, I can confirm that I once drank 14 in one afternoon and felt great the next day,” assured Bushby.

Hard seltzers are typically around 4% to 6% ABV, so Buena Fé is also not sacrificing alcohol content and potency, clocking in at 5% ABV.

For those looking to take the dive into quenchers, Buena Fé is available in Watermelon & Strawberry and Mango & Pineapple at $13.99 for a 4-pack at their website or at participating retailers.
