Beefy Crunch Burrito Becomes the McRib of Taco Bell Items, Returning May 23rd
Call it the McRib of the Taco Bell culture, but the on-again off-again elusive Beefy Crunch Burrito menu item is expected to make a return to Taco Bell on May 23rd, 2013.
The burrito is filled with Flamin’ Hot Fritos chips, seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, seasoned rice, and reduced fat sour cream, and has been known to be priced around $0.99.
Back in April, Taco Bell posted a photo of the product to their official Facebook page with the following text: “Back this May. No Joke.” Now it’s May, and several mentions of a 5.23.13 launch date have surfaced, including a date being promoted by the Facebook fan page “3 Million Fans to get Back the Beefy Crunch Burrito.”
