Woman Accidentally Eats Potato Chips Covered In Dead Ants Thinking They Were Black Pepper

Don’t you hate it when you accidentally mistake ants for black pepper? Yeah, me too.

While eating at a Pita Pit in Beaverton, Oregon, Emily Wagoner made this crucial mistake, buying a bag of Miss Vickie’s Sea Salt and Vinegar chips, and being under the impression that it had some added black pepper to the mix.

Well actually, those sea salt and vinegar chips don’t come with pepper, and halfway into the bag, Wagoner eventually realized that her chips were covered in dead ants.

Disgusted and horrified, she tweeted out this photo to the world:

Emily then said she complained about it, and without even apologizing, the Pita Pit employee just asked if she wanted a new bag, because she surely wanted more of the food that just made her consume dead ants.

According to Cosmo, Pita Pit tried to make things square by giving her a $50 gift certificate, but Emily was so upset at the way she was treated at the restaurant, she just spit on the offer.

I’m willing to go out on a limb here and say that there’s a 100 percent chance that after this story, you will double check the black pepper in your meals.
