Taco Bell Volcano Chicken Salad…err

This past Wednesday I paid a quick visit to the Taco Bell corporate headquarters in Irvine to try out their highly anticipated new “Volcano Menu”, with a focus on the Volcano Taco and Volcano Burrito. The Mexican Fast Food chain definitely has something special going on with this new Lava sauce. After leading us into their test kitchen, they probed us and hung us from the ceiling while we tried their new burrito. To round off our visit, our gracious hosts were kind enough to let us use the test kitchen to our heart’s desire. I formulated the extremely original and non-formulaic Taco Bell Volcano Chicken Salad which consists of chicken, beans, lettuce, red tortilla chip strips, pico de gallo and delicious lava sauce. When you see this puppy on their menu in the next year or so, remember who your Columbus was!
