First Date Cake — A Picnic Recreated Entirely of Cake

Charm City Cakes was recently commissioned to create another unique wedding cake (when isn’t it unique when Charm City Cakes is involved?), this time an expressive recreation of a couple’s first date. Every last detail of the couple’s first picnic date was included in the three-foot-long cake.

The snacks they were chomping in are evident — the backpack, even down to the bottles of wine with matching labels and the Dixie cups they were sipping out of. Everything you see is edible, minus the structure and the top of the bench.
