Domino’s Is Offering Free Minecraft Games With Its Latest Pizza Promo
Domino’s is celebrating the upcoming launch of Minecraft Dungeons II with a new promotion that includes 20,000 free digital copies of the game, collectible pizza boxes, and a handful of exclusive in-game items. And all of it revolves around the chain’s new personal pizza.
Starting October 26, customers who purchase a Domino, a made-for-one pizza cut into two rectangular blocks, can participate in the promotion. Given Minecraft’s signature blocky aesthetic, the pairing is almost too convenient.
From October 26 through November 4, Domino’s will give away 2,000 digital copies of Minecraft Dungeons II daily, each valued at $29.99. Customers can enter for a chance to win by purchasing a Domino and submitting proof of purchase through the official promotion page. The codes work exclusively on PC and Xbox.
Domino’s Rewards members who purchase a Domino online can also unlock one of three randomly awarded in-game items: a Domino’s character skin, a Slice Slayer Cape, or a Cheesy Cube Pet. The latter follows players around but offers no help in battle, which raises the question of whether a cheese cube could realistically do much against a Creeper anyway.
The collaboration also includes six collectible pizza boxes featuring Minecraft Dungeons II characters, including Creeper, Zombie, Pig, Valorie, Corrupted Creeper, and Prime Enchanter, while supplies last.
Domino’s also plans to launch an interactive Minecraft-themed pizza tracker at a later date.
