Chips Ahoy! And Heinz Just Took Cookies Somewhere Wild

The human palate knows no limits, because spicy ketchup-flavored cookies were definitely not on my bingo card. But here we are! Chips Ahoy! has teamed up with Heinz Inspiration Kitchen for one of this year’s wildest flavor mash-ups, and I have zero shame in admitting that I’m curious to try it.

Sadly, the new limited-edition Chips Ahoy! x Heinz tomato sweet chili sauce cookies are only available in China. The brand goes by the name Quduoduo there and announced the release in an October 2 Weibo post, which is basically China’s version of Twitter. Heinz’s tomato sweet chili sauce inspired the flavor, which the brands describe as “richly flavored, sweet and spicy.”
