Krispy Kreme Japan Just Announced All-You-Can-Eat Doughnuts

Krispy Kreme Japan is celebrating its 20th anniversary with something doughnut lovers have probably dreamed about at least once: an all-you-can-eat Original Glazed event.

Running from July 30 through August 18, the limited-time promotion invites guests to enjoy unlimited freshly made Original Glazed doughnuts for 45 minutes at two Tokyo locations: Shibuya Cine Tower and Tokyo International Forum.

Admission costs 1,760 yen (about $11.60 USD) for adults, which happens to be roughly the same price as a standard dozen of Original Glazed doughnuts in Japan. Guests can order up to 12 doughnuts at a time and enjoy unlimited self-serve iced coffee, iced tea, and lemonade throughout the session. Every ticket also includes one complimentary Peach Jelly in Soda, available in either Orange & Pink Grapefruit or Peach & Mango.

There is one catch: finish what you order. Krispy Kreme Japan will charge guests 220 yen for each leftover doughnut, so it’s probably wise to pace yourself instead of treating the first tray like a personal challenge.

The celebration is exclusive to 216 guests, who will earn their spot through a lottery hosted on the Krispy Kreme Japan app. Children younger than elementary school age can participate for 880 yen.

Considering the admission costs about the same as a dozen doughnuts, anyone planning to eat beyond that already comes out ahead. The harder question may be figuring out where your stomach decides to call it quits.
