Dave’s Hot Chicken Teams Up With Marvel For A New X-Men Meal

Last year’s retro-inspired X-Men ’97 became one of Marvel Animation’s biggest surprises, and with Season 2 on the horizon, fans are eager for another dose of super-powered ’90s nostalgia. To celebrate, Marvel Animation has teamed up with Dave’s Hot Chicken to launch the X-Meal, which includes your choice of a Dave’s #4 (one slider with fries) or a 10-piece order of Dave’s Bites with fries, plus one of four collectible X-Men toys.

Dave’s serves the X-Meal in a custom box featuring comic book-style artwork of the X-Men and prices it at $13.99. Fans can collect figures of Cyclops, Jean Grey, Wolverine, and Storm—though my guy Gambit didn’t make the cut.

Fans will likely scoop these meals up quickly for a chance to collect the full set. If X-Men ’97 continues its hot streak, those toys could become sought-after collectibles down the road.

Dave’s Hot Chicken launches the X-Meal nationwide for a limited time beginning July 1.
