The Daughter Of Mrs. Fields’ Founder Just Launched Functional Cookies
A cookie legacy is stepping into the wellness world.
Fields Good, co-founded by Ashley Fields—daughter of Mrs. Fields Original Cookies founder Debbi Fields—and Kim Anderson, just launched with a flavor-first mindset that aims to blur the line between nostalgic comfort food and functional wellness.
Which is probably why the cookies still sound like cookies first.
Made with ingredients the brand says consumers can trust, the debut lineup breaks down into three functional lanes:
- FOCUS (Mocha Dark Chocolate): Formulated with Cognizin® Citicoline, creatine, and caffeine to support mental clarity and performance.
- PROTEIN (Peanut Butter Protein): Packs 10 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber into a soft-baked peanut butter cookie designed to keep you fueled throughout the day.
- SLEEP (Oatmeal Raisin Sleep): Infused with L-theanine, passionflower, and valerian root to help support relaxation and recovery.
Ashley Fields says she spent more than two years developing the recipes with one non-negotiable in mind: the functional ingredients had to disappear into the cookie itself instead of overpowering the experience.
That approach feels especially aligned with where food culture keeps drifting lately. People still want comfort and familiarity, but they also want foods that can fit into the rhythms of how they live now—more protein, more energy, better sleep, sharper focus—without feeling like they’re eating something joyless in the process.
Fields Good launches with $1.8 million in pre-seed funding led by Female Founders Fund and plans to expand through direct-to-consumer sales, TikTok Shop, Amazon, and eventually retail shelves.
Pre-orders are available now, with shipping expected to begin in mid-June.
