Taco Bell’s Boldest Move Yet? Asking Fans To Cook Up The Menu

Taco Bell just handed the keys to the kingdom over to its fans, and the results are now officially on the national menu.

After inviting Taco Bell diehards to submit their wildest custom orders through its Fan Style feature, the chain sifted through more than 40,000 creations. Three stood out. And now? They’re no longer secret menu hacks. They’re front and center as limited-time items: the California Crunchwrap, Burrito Bliss, and Cantina Craze.

All three hit menus nationwide starting November 20, but there’s a catch—you can only order them through the Taco Bell app or in-store kiosks. The message is clear: if fans are going to dream big, Taco Bell’s going to let them eat big.

Fan Style: Where Customizers Become “Fan Chefs”

Taco Bell fans have been remixing the menu since forever by adding, swapping, hacking, experimenting. Fan Style is simply the moment the brand decided to make it official.

Launched in 2025, the in-app tool let Taco Bell Rewards Members build and name their own Frankenstein creations. But the real twist was the contest: submit your personal remix and you might just earn a spot on the national menu.

Forty thousand submissions later, three fans—Brock from Michigan, Sandra from Missouri, and Kajol from Kentucky—got the call. Taco Bell even flew them out to headquarters in Irvine to see how their late-night cravings got turned into actual menu items.

The Fan-Made Menu

California Crunchwrap

Think classic Crunchwrap energy, but with steak, seasoned fries, guacamole, and that iconic grilled tortilla fold. Brock said he borrowed the idea from SoCal burrito culture—think the iconic San Diego-style with fries inside—and decided to give the Crunchwrap the same treatment. Turns out, it smacks.

Burrito Bliss

Kajol’s vegetarian remix takes the Cheesy Bean & Rice Burrito and gives it the glow-up it secretly deserved: Pico de Gallo, Fiesta Strips, seasoned rice, refried beans, and Avocado Ranch. It’s crunchy, creamy, comforting, and honestly feels like the sleeper hit of the lineup.

Cantina Craze

Sandra took the Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco and ran with it, adding Creamy Jalapeño Sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, and reduced-fat sour cream. It sounds like the kind of tweak you make once, taste, and immediately nod your head in agreement.

The Bigger Picture

This is Taco Bell doubling down on what fans have been doing for decades: taking a menu and giving it a remix in the best way possible.
