Leinenkugel’s Turns Its Iconic Summer Shandy Into An Ice Cream Sandwich
Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy has long been a seasonal staple–it’s even in the name. Now, the Wisconsin beer brand has created the frozen treat to beat the heat both beer and frozen custard fans might like.
Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandwich is its very Midwestern take on an ice cream sandwich, as it is inspired by signature ingredients from its home state. The lemonade-flavored Shandwich dessert features a sweet Shandy custard (4.2% ABV), a ripple of cheese fudge swirls (because cheese), brandied cherries (an homage to the state’s signature Old Fashioned), and Kringle pastry layers (in honor of the Kringle capital, Racine) all sandwiched between two sweet corn shortbread cookies.
Created in partnership with Tipsy Scoop, Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandwich is available nationwide for a limited time both online ($49 for a 6-pack) and at Tipsy Scoop stores.
