‘Freakier Friday’ Movie Drops Clever Swappable Popcorn Buckets

Freakier Friday, the unexpected sequel to the classic 2003 Disney film “Freaky Friday,” releases on August 8. To accompany the film, Marcus Theatres, a small chain with locations in just 17 states, is releasing a popcorn bucket and drink cup with swappable tops.

The ingenious idea was inspired by the film, allowing customers to swap the tops of both items, similar to how Jamie Curtis and Lindsey Lohan switch bodies. The swap gives the popcorn bucket the appearance of being a drink cup and the cup the appearance of the popcorn bucket. Both can be used for either popcorn or a beverage.
