Jack In The Box Collabs With Writers Behind ‘Saw’ And ‘American Horror Story’ To Debut Horror Short Flick

Jack in the Box seems to be taking a different approach to Friday the 13th this year, as they’ve joined forces with horror writers from “You,” “Saw,” and “American Horror Story: 1984” to create a horror short called “Feeding Time.”

Earlier this month, they rolled out the Angry Monster Taco and brought back the Monster Taco. But they’ve gone a step further to celebrate Halloween by going all-in on horror. Feeding Time is a quick scare that features an Angry Monster food truck taking on bullies to save the spooky season.

It’s an unexpected move for a fast food brand, but it’s cool to see them getting creative with their promotions. Add in the bonus of an Easter egg in the short that unlocks free Monster Tacos on the Jack app and you’ve got Mr. Box with the common W.

So, if you’re a fan of Jack in the Box and horror, you’ve got an unexpected fright and delight this Friday the 13th. Scary and savory — who knew that flavor combo would work?
