Taco Bell Bids Farewell To The Quesarito As New Menu Items Are Tested

After almost a decade of deliciousness, Taco Bell is saying adios to the beloved Quesarito as new menu items are being tested around the country. If you’re not ready to say goodbye just yet, you have until April 19 to enjoy this fan-favorite.

First released in 2014, the Quesarito — a beefy rice burrito wrapped in a melty quesadilla — received excellent responses when it first debuted. While Taco Bell has yet to issue a statement on the purpose of its removal or if it’ll return (remember when they snatched the Mexican Pizza away from us only to bring it back two years later?), there have been new developments in Taco Bell test kitchens that fans are already anticipating.

According to News Nation, Taco Bell has announced that customers in Knoxville, Tennessee, will be the first guinea pigs to try out the new Cheesy Chicken Crispanada, Taco Bell’s modern take on a classic cheese and chicken empanada.

So grab a Quesarito while you still can and make the most of it before it fades into black for good.
