“It breaks my heart to see my mom watch the door everyday waiting for a customer to walk in.”

The poignant and heart-wrenching caption by Isabel Milan, the restaurant owner’s daughter, on the TikTok above was the catalyst for an early Christmas miracle.

Social media immediately took notice of the short but heartrending clip and rallied behind Taco-Bout-Joy’s, a Mexican restaurant in Glenview, Illinois owned by sisters Joy Milan and Kack Keomanivong.

Support from all corners of TikTok flooded the restaurant’s TikTok and the restaurant itself, as the super viral clip has garnered around 38.5 million views, over six million likes, and more than 68,000 comments as of this writing.

Isabel posted a couple of uplifting follow up TikTok vids as updates and thanked everyone for their overwhelming support, with one showing Taco-Bout-Joy’s kitchen filled with family and friends helping out to support as result of the sudden influx of customers coming in.

You definitely love to see it.
