McDonald’s is Testing a Chicken Big Mac in the US

McDonald’s Chicken Big Mac was first introduced to the United Kingdom earlier this year to huge success, completely selling out a mere 10 days after its debut. Now, Ronald & Co. are bringing the British hit stateside.

Starting later this August, McDonald’s will be testing the Chicken Big Mac at select locations in Miami, Florida. The Chicken Big Mac is what you would expect with the flip, as it switches out the all-beef patties for tempura-battered chicken patties to join the OG Big Mac cast of special Big Mac sauce, lettuce, American cheese, and pickles.

This test should yield positive results, however, as chicken continues to be a hit-item across the fast food industry. The ongoing chicken sandwich wars and its cheaper cost compared to beef should be a solid barometer for the outcome of McDonald’s Chicken Big Mac test in Miami.
