This Ice Cream Is Literally A Whole Thanksgiving Dinner

Salt and Straw Ice Cream has spent the better part of the last decade shocking folks with its unique flavor combinations such as Pear and Blue Cheese, and Arbequina Olive Oil.

Fans of the shop have come to expect anything, and its Thanksgiving flavors deliver above and beyond those expectations.

This November, Salt and Straw has been scooping a Thanksgiving celebration with special flavors consisting of Sweet Potato Caserole with Maple Pecans, Roasted Peach and Sage Cornbread Stuffing, Blood Orange Cranberry Sauce, Spiced Goat Cheese Pumpkin Pie, and even a Salted Caramel Turkey.

Co-founder Tyler Malek explained on the Foodbeast Katchup podcast, the importance of creating new flavor combinations and how they release new ones as often as every month.

“What we do now, is the first Friday of every month, we launch a new menu,” Malek said. “We treat it almost like a Broadway show. There’s literally years-worth of build up for that menu, and it happens every month.”

While the Thanksgiving pints are unfortunately sold out online, you can still run over to any of Salt and Straw’s 20 locations, Wednesday for a last minute try.
