As all hardcore Hayao Miyazaki fans may know, the soft-spoken, creative genius is a big-time foodie. As evident throughout his popular films such as Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, and Spirited Away, Miyazaki uses food to portray warmth and closeness between friends and family. His understanding of food as a source of comfort for many people allows the audience to build a connection with the characters. And if that isn’t enough, he always makes all the food look so damn good.

Those magical foods in your favorite Studio Ghibli films are now being brought to life by Instagrammer En93kitchen. Her dedication to recreate the entire experience, including the food and plating, as similar to the movie as possible is incredible, and it’s leaving us drooling.
