DiGiorno Now Makes PIZZA MELTS

Digiorno has launched a new line of smaller serving pizzas called Artisan Style Melts. The melts are designed to be enjoyed as snacks, or a smaller meal.

The melts are made with focaccia bread and come in four different flavors: Spicy Sausage Pomodoro, Quattro Formaggi, Pepporoni Speciale, and Chicken Bruschetta.

Unlike most frozen pizzas, the new melts are designed to be popped in the microwave and be ready in just a few minutes. For those who would still prefer to cook them like most frozen pizzas, they can also be baked in the oven.

According to Digiorno, preparing them in the microwave will make the bread softer, while the oven will provide a crispier texture. Each box, priced at $3.99, contains two servings.

Additionally, the company announced the expansion of the flavors available in their line of pizzeria! thin flavors, with the addition of Spicy Italiano and Provolone, and  Chicken Parmigiana. These two new flavors join four previous pizzeria! thin flavors, and will be available nationwide for $6.99. The thin flavors are designed to cook faster, in about 20 minutes.
