Quiznos Reveals a Chicken Bacon Dipper Sub

It’s been awhile since we heard from the Quiznos camp, but today the chain launches their new sandwich experience in the form of a Chicken Bacon Dipper. The sandwich comes with all-white-meat chicken, bacon, chipotle jack bread and a side of cheese sauce made for dipping.

Quiznos is taking the new sandwich rather seriously, allocating a hefty amount of advertising via both images and video attempting to position the sandwich as an “extraordinary” sub (full ironic disclosure: Quiznos ads do indeed appear in our Sponsored Ad locations today). Their campaign continues on their newly launched product site, www.chickenbacondipper.com, that houses a wealth of in-house-created videos and fan submitted images showing the plethora of ways the sandwich is edible…and well, unordinary.

If the aim of these videos was to show off the “unordinary,” I feel they might be barking up the right tree. The Yogi clip shown above is the first of several clips available online, but it was enough to creep me out. The real test will be if fans take to the new flavors, and Quiznos is quick to offer up a limited-time-only coupon to get the sandwich for $2.99.
