Jamie Oliver’s “Food Revolution” Rejected by Some 75 School Districts

Looks like Jamie Oliver‘s Food Revolution program is having a bit of trouble finding its legs. According to various reports, the food show personality has been pleading with the L.A. Unified School District to reconsider its decision against allowing him to film Food Revolution at any of their campuses. This resistance from schools comes as no surprise, with a reported 75 other school districts having already turned down the offer of being on TV under the guise of revamping their school lunches. Is Jamie Oliver annoying? Is this a bad time to approach schools, particularly with so many budget cuts being tossed around? It’s hard to doubt this man’s cause is a noble one, but there has to be a reason why he’s facing so many hurdles.
