Playoff Fodder: KFC Encourages ‘Couchgating’ with their New ‘Gameday Bucket’

With their timely playoff campaign, KFC looks to become the main player in providing the necessary equipment to lead your household viewing party to “Couchgating” awesome.

So what exactly is “Couchgating”? Apparently, it’s doing exactly what you normally do while watching a sporting event, but with a bucket of KFC, aptly called the “Gamebay Bucket.” This mountain of food comprises of 8 pieces of chicken, 8 Hot Wings and 10 Original Recipe Bites.

Jason Marker, KFC’s Chief Marketing Officer for this campaign, explained, “When having people over to watch the big game, we know that people only get one shot at impressing their friends and family. That’s why KFC is coming to the rescue with the Gameday Bucket. It’s food worthy of the game!”

Although, if you really want to impress friends and family at your next playoff party, here’s a quick tip: Stop by the grocery store, pick up an ample amount of booze and bam. Playoff magic.
