Panda Express Adds Bacon to their Orange Chicken, Alongside a New Shiitake Kale Dish

Bacon? Kale? Panda Express now has both trendy ingredients through the addition of two new items, a shiitake kale chicken breast and an orange chicken dish lined with bacon.

The Shiitake Kale Chicken Breast caters to the Panda customers looking to eat on the lighter side. Using “fresh, leafy kale, rich shiitake mushrooms, broccoli and premium chicken breast,” the relatively low-cal menu items falls into the chain’s Wok Smart offerings.

The more indulgent of the two new dishes is the Orange Chicken and Bacon, a quick and dirty upgrade to the brand’s signature sweet and spicy orange chicken with smoky bacon pieces.
