3-Dimensional Kitchen Ad Found Hidden in Newspaper

Looking to create an ad that would catch the eye of readers perusing through newspapers, Colombia-based artist Felipe Salazar played with perception in his latest work for Corona Kitchen.

Manipulating rows of text, the creative director was able to fashion distinct outlines into a three-dimensional kitchen. The ad warps traditional newsprint columns, inviting readers to peer into a “miniature kitchen.” From the oven to the vent, Salazar succeeds in designing a memorable ad that captures our attention by altering the ordinary.
