This Is Chipotle’s Coveted GUACAMOLE Recipe, Verified By Chipotle

Whenever you’ve got some extra money to blow on fast food, it’s not unusual to opt for some guacamole to enhance your Chipotle burritos, or tacos. Well you can now make that guacamole yourself as Chipotle just revealed its super secret recipe online, as white girls across the country ‘can’t even’ right now.

Turns out to be a pretty basic recipe, albeit a good one, obviously.

There’s no secret spices from some exotic rain forest, and their avocados aren’t grown in a galaxy far, far away. It’s literally just these six ingredients:

  • 2 ripe Hass avocados
  • 2 tsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1/2 jalapeño, finely chopped, including seeds
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt

Chipotle said in one batch, they’ll use up to 48 avocados and they make multiple batches a day.

Then they showed the step-by-step:

So now you know how they do it, and you can walk into Chipotle with a giant tub of homemade guac to share with everyone in the restaurant and become a hometown hero. Or you can painfully pull out your wallet and fork up the $2 anyway.
